The geriatric center, which has the prestigious Joint Comisssion certification, has capacity for 40 places, half public and the rest private, and 10 places of Day Center. The healthcare personal receives the alarms on their DECT, and whatever their location is, they are alerted and can go without delaying to assist the residents. In addition, the door of the rooms have corridor lights. When the alarm is raised, they turn on so they can easily identify from which room the alarm has been generated.
The Ascó nursing home was inaugurated in 2.002, under the collaboration agreement between Rojar Asistencia Sanitaria S.A., and the Catalan Institute of Assistance and Social Services. The SAGESSA Group to which it belongs was created in 1.989 with the purpose of managing health services and it has evolved up to the moment, focusing on giving an agile and anticipated answer to the assistance challenges that happens in our environment.
