The nursing home and daycare center, located in a great prestige area in Sarriá – Sant Gervasi neighborhood (Barcelona), has 104 residential places and the HELPNEX system. It’s a complete solution of healthcare communication that covers the need related to alarm management; and it also integrates part of the center’s telecommunications services to optimize it’s use and facilitate its operation and maintenance.
Helpnex system allows, with the integration with Ackermann license, to coexist both technologies.
Helpnex server is responsible to realize the communication with the Ackermann’s hardware installed in the nursing home, which receives the alarms generated in the room pushbuttons and bath drawers.
Once an alarm has been generated, the healthcare staff receives a notice on their wireless, following the process of a normal alarm in Helpnex. On the screen of the wireless it will appear the room number and optionally it’s possible to receive a voice message with the origin of the alarm.
The ending of the alarms is realized in the room, pressing the button of cancellation in the Ackermann room module. This attention is recorded in HELPNEX causing the immediate attention of the alarm. In addition, Helpnex allows the encoding of this alarm from the software or from a wireless making a call to the extension of codification.
In the software is registered the activity of every worker and room, allowing to know the workload of the health staff of an individualized and concrete way; all these actions can be consulted through custom reports generated in the software.
