In July 2015, “Cristo de los Mineros” health center, in La Unión (Murcia) and, belonged to Diagrama Foundation, opened its doors to people in situations of dependency.

The Center has capacity for 100 dependent people, distributed in 10.000 m2 constructed and 3.500 m2 of green areas, and possesses the HELPNEX IP system. It’s a complete healthcare communication solution that covers all needs connected to healthcare alarm management and wander control between others functions; and integrates all telecommunication services to optimize its use, to facilitate its exploitation and maintenance, and everything from a perfectly integrated software solution.
Solutions that Ibernex provides, offer an improvement in the care quality of people thanks to the IP PoE nurse call system, a simple solution with which residents generate an alarm in case of needing help, with bed or bathroom pushbuttons. Staff receives the alarms in its wireless, and whatever be their location they are alerted and go without delay to help residents.
Thanks to RFID technology, it’s possible to know the follow-up of the professional performance of healthcare staff. In this center every room terminal has a RFID reader, that move on the card over the reader, is reordered on the server that person comes to attend the alarm, which was late in coming to the room and the length of the service. Thanks to this technology it’s possible to know the workload of health staff in individual and concrete way; each action can be consulted through custom reports generated in the software.
All are integrated in the same HELPNEX software, facilitating the care of patients management and maximizing the work and comfort of staff, as well as a better integration and help of families.
