Conference “Connecting the hospital of the future”
Ibernex and Nexus, leading technology companies in the communication of the health sector, held on September 2 the event “Connecting the hospital of the future.” The event, which took place at the NM Lima Hotel, taking advantage of the presence of experts from the sector at the Tecnosalud fair held that same week, was a success of assistance with the presence of numerous engineers specialized in infrastructure, communications and low-currents in Peru.
The day began with a meal, which started the event in a relaxed atmosphere prior to the presentations, facilitating closer contact between those present. Next, Tomás Prieto, CEO of Ibernex, inaugurated the event giving way to the engineer Alfonso Martín Calero, who, through his presentation “Hospital 2.0 systems integration”, helped us to understand how necessary is the integration of all the systems of communication operating in hospitals.
Afterwards, Tomás Prieto transmitted to the guests the important deployment that Ibernex has made in Peru during the last years, emphasizing the importance that this market currently has in the company’s strategy. This is one of the reasons why the event was held jointly, by the hand of its collaborator and distributor in Peru, Nexus Technology. Blanca Pérez, a member of the team of this Latin American company, also explained all the challenges and technological advances that allow the proper functioning of hospitals.
To end the day of presentations, Alberto Lana-Linati, international commercial of Ibernex, explained in detail the wide possibilities offered by each of the solutions of Ibernex in a hospital, residence or infrastructure, and the added value that it contributes in each of them.
A casual cocktail closed a more than successful day at the Lima NM Hotel, which allowed Ibernex to deepen and reaffirm Peru’s commitment to launch new hospital projects.
A very rewarding event that allowed us to share opinions on the different existing solutions in the healthcare field, provide new interesting comments and assess the next trends in the sector.

Tecnosalud Fair
Ibernex and Nexus Technology, joined forces again in the same week to participate in the XIII edition of the Tecnosalud Fair, the most important fair of suppliers of the health sector in Peru, which was held from September 4th to 6th at the Jockey Exhibitions Center ofLima.
The event brought together more than 400 exhibiting national and international companies, which has meant for Ibernex a very good opportunity to share information with the different manufacturers and companies of services and products of the health sector, and to be able to know interesting news of the sector.
Tecnosalud is the ideal meeting place for all those professionals who rely on the use of technology for the care of hospital patients, so Ibernex showed its solutions to all potential clients who approached its stand, as well as the latest news to current clients who also attended the appointment. Among these developments, Ibernex presented as the protagonist, the new IP terminal with 7 touch screen”, the result of intense and constant work in R&D.
The resounding success of the event held at the NM Lima Hotel and Tecnosalud, encourages Ibernex to continue strengthening and expanding its presence in Peru and continue to organize new conferences that offer the opportunity to present the new challenges facing the hospital sector and the solutions that Ibernex studies and develops daily to face them.
